Fill saucepan with water to about 2cm deep, place lid on pan and bring to the boil.
When boiling remove lid and break one or two eggs into the water. The easiest way is to put the eggs into a small cup first and then slide them into the water. Place lid on pan and turn off the heat.
Leave for three minutes and DON'T remove the saucepan lid!
After three minutes, remove pan lid and using a slotted spoon, carefully remove the eggs and put them on buttered toast.
And there you go! Perfect hassle free poached eggs!
